PFA/FEP/PTFE thin-walled parts

  • 1. Product Overview
This series of thin-walled components is precision-molded from PFA, FEP, and PTFE perfluorinated resin materials, specifically designed for wet process applications such as semiconductor wafer wet cleaning, chemical solution transfer, and tank system integration. The product is manufactured using precision molding and machining processes, ensuring structural stability in thin-walled designs while achieving high cleanliness and excellent corrosion resistance. It effectively prevents issues such as metal ion leaching, chemical contamination, and material dissolution, making it suitable for various acidic, alkaline, hydrofluoric acid, and high-temperature, high-purity liquid environments. It serves as a core component in semiconductor wet processing.

    II. Core Product Advantages

    Outstanding Chemical Resistance
Capable of withstanding prolonged exposure to highly corrosive cleaning agents such as hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and ammonia solution without swelling, erosion, or decomposition, compatible with all types of semiconductor cleaning chemistries.

    Ultra-High Cleanliness, Low Leaching
Produced from inherently high-purity fluoropolymers, free from additives and recycled materials, resulting in extremely low levels of metal ion and particulate leaching. Prevents wafer secondary contamination and ensures high process yield.

    Excellent High-Temperature Performance
Wide continuous operating temperature range, suitable for high-temperature chemical cleaning and tank heating applications. Exhibits strong thermal stability and maintains dimensional integrity even in thin-wall structures.

    Smooth Inner Surface, Low Adhesion
Low surface tension minimizes residue buildup of chemicals and impurities, enabling easy cleaning and preventing wall adhesion. Ideal for high-purity fluid transfer and cleaning processes.

    Precision Thin-Wall Technology
Optimized manufacturing for thin-wall thicknesses, delivering high dimensional accuracy, superior roundness and flatness, excellent sealing performance, and consistent assembly—ideal for automated production lines.

    Insulating and Non-Adsorptive
Offers excellent electrical insulation properties and does not adsorb moisture or contaminants, meeting the stringent requirements of semiconductor cleanroom environments.

III. Three Material Types and Selection Guidelines

    PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
Highest temperature resistance and top-tier corrosion resistance; extremely low coefficient of friction. Suitable for ultra-pure chemical systems, static components in aggressive environments, gaskets, and bushings. Relatively soft; care must be taken during assembly for large-sized thin-wall parts.

    FEP (Perfluoroalkoxy)
Supports hot-melt welding, offers excellent transparency, and better formability than PTFE. Commonly used in transparent windows, thin-wall tubing, and small flow distributors. Provides high cost-performance ratio.

    PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy)
Combines the corrosion and heat resistance of PTFE with superior processability. Offers optimal creep resistance and dimensional stability. Highly recommended for primary thin-wall components in semiconductor wet processes and long-term high-pressure/high-temperature operations.

    IV. Typical Application Scenarios
Semiconductor Wafer Wet Cleaning Equipment: Spray nozzles, flow guides, isolation bushings, thin-wall sleeves
Chemical delivery piping, liner inserts for fittings, protective thin-wall components for tanks
Full wet process stations including post-lithography cleaning, etching, RCA cleaning, and hydrofluoric acid cleaning
Thin-wall components for photovoltaic and electronic-grade high-purity chemical equipment

    V. Manufacturing and Quality Control
Raw materials sourced from electronic-grade high-purity fluoropolymers; produced entirely in cleanroom facilities to prevent cross-contamination.
Utilizes precision molding combined with CNC machining to strictly control thin-wall dimensions and geometric tolerances.
All products undergo 100% inspection upon shipment for appearance, dimensions, and cleanliness. Material certification and ion leaching test reports available upon request, fully compliant with semiconductor industry’s rigorous acceptance standards.
